MEDICAL BILLER AND CODER PER DIEM – THIS IS A REMOTE/VIRTUAL POSITION

Must be Proficient in “OUT-of-NETWORK”, ICD-10 coding, and the use of electronic documentation, clearinghouses, modifiers and EMR use.

Self-motivated individuals who can work with little supervision.

Must be current on rules and regulations relevant to medical coding

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Medical coding Knowledge of ICD-10, E&M coding with modifiers and CPT codes. (Out of Network and must be current on rules and regulations relevant to current medical coding)

-Detailed and meticulous to Data Entry and Insurance Verification.

-Collections, Prompt, accurate and precise Claim Status follow up, Aging reports, and account receivables.

-Knowledge to obtain health insurance EOBs/ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) From Insurance web portals.

-Ability to audit, competent and relentless with submitting appeals, and analyze patient accounts.

-Payment posting and account reconciliation.

REQUIRMENTS

1. Strong ethical and moral character references.

2. Good Communication Skills.

3. Medical Coding Billing Knowledge.

4. Competent Expertise.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $60.00 per hour

Experience:

• ICD-10: 5 years (Preferred)
