Ambulatory Surgery Center Billing Manager – Secaucus, NJ 07094

Manager for Business Office Operations, oversee the daily operations of Central ASC Business Billing Office Operations, as well as Physician billing. The Billing Manager should have extensive knowledge with NY No-Fault/NJ PIP/Worker’s Compensation claims.

The Billing Manager for Business Office Operations revenue cycle functions include:

  • Insurance Verification and Scheduling for the ASC’s
  • Charge entry and medical coding (CPT and Diagnosis)
  • Claim submission
  • Third party follow-up
  • Self-pay billing
  • Bad Debt Transfer
  • Vendor management
  • Billing system management
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Maintaining good working relationships with Director of Nursing
  • Meeting with physicians and ASC partnership when appropriate
  • Understanding NY and NJ Workers Compensation, PIP/No-Fault Regulations, as well as Out of Network Reimbursement and Appeals.
  • 1500 and UB-04 Claim Submission
  • Electronic Billing
  • Management of the Billing/coding/scheduling staff, which includes productivity monitoring, ensuring effective performance, training, ability to monitor backlogs
  • IT & Programmer support
  • Other duties as assigned
